Sophia Breust
Structural Integration Practitioner (ATSI)
Remedial Massage Therapist
Emotional Body Coach
From Sophia:
The truth is… I didn’t heal by learning how to help others.
I healed by finally learning how to face myself.
I know what it’s like to feel strong on the outside and unraveling on the inside.
To keep showing up — for clients, family, the world — while quietly carrying a weight no one can see.
To be trauma-informed in theory, but still caught in patterns of self-abandonment, burnout, and emotional overwhelm.
I was doing all the “right” things.
But my body was still holding on to what I hadn’t yet faced.
My Story:
In 2014, I was diagnosed with PTSD after a series of traumatic experiences that shook me to my core. The symptoms were relentless: panic, exhaustion, nightmares, dissociation.
So I did what many of us do – I tried to fix it in my mind. I showed up religiously to talk therapy for two years, and while it gave me language, it didn’t bring me relief.
The turning point came when I experienced Structural Integration and Myofascial Bodywork. It helped me reconnect to the body I had been floating above for years. Suddenly I understood: the trauma hadn’t just lived in my memories – it had lived in my tissues. This work gave me back my breath, my body, my presence. But it wasn’t the whole story.
Healing my fascia freed my physical body, yes. But it was only when I began to truly feel my emotions, not manage or spiritualize them, that something irreversible shifted. I stopped performing wellness and started living from a place of truth. My relationships changed. My nervous system softened. I finally felt grounded in my life.
That’s when Emotional Body Coaching was born.
I believe that emotional health and physical health are not separate.
That your body is not a machine to be fixed, but a map of everything you’ve carried.
That healing is not about pushing through – it’s about softening into yourself with presence, honesty, and care.
Whether I’m working with your body or your emotional landscape, I always begin with what’s here now – not what we think should be worked on. I help you gently peel back the layers of protection, conditioning, and pressure until you arrive at the version of you that’s been here all along.
In treatment sessions, we work hands-on to open the breath, release tension patterns, and reconnect the fascial web of your body – the sensory system that holds the truth of your life.
In coaching sessions, we work somatically to explore what you’re feeling, where you’re holding it, and how to meet it without judgment. We unhook from old stories, shift perspective, and let emotions move in real time.
My work is rooted in nervous system awareness, emotional intelligence, and real-life integration – not performance or bypass.

Deni Cooper
Structural Integration Bodyworker (ATSI)
Remedial Massage Therapist
Deni is a Remedial Massage Therapist, Structural Integration Bodyworker and pain psychology enthusiast.
Here’s a little background coming straight from Deni:
I’ve always been fascinated by human behaviour and anything psychology-related and have filled several bookshelves with these topics. I’ve always wanted to help people and to ease their suffering. My own life experiences and struggles with autoimmune disease have ultimately led me to work as a remedial therapist and pursue the Anatomy Trains Structural Integration work.
I’ve struggled with endometriosis and interstitial cystitis since I was 12 years old and have tried so many different treatment options, including surgery.
It wasn’t until I found practitioners who were able to work with my body, my emotions and my mind that I was able to actually get some relief from the pain. I came to understand that my body, emotions and mind are all interconnected. Learning how to listen to my body and emotions was the most effective way to create the longest-lasting change in my pain patterns. And now I can share this with others.
For the first time in 15 years, I was able to find some relief from the pain and I knew that I really wanted to help other people ease their pain too. I love to enjoy life. I live fast-paced and squeeze the absolute most out of every beautiful opportunity. Sometimes I still find myself fatigued, in pain and needing to rest, but now I have healthier ways of relating to my body. I hope that my life experience can help me relate to others who are going through difficult journeys.
I really want to be able to give others people living with pain the opportunity to empower themselves and find a way through their suffering. This is what led me down the path of remedial massage, pain psychology, trauma informed practice, structural integration and emotional release bodywork. I have a particular interest in the ways in which emotional tension and traumas can be stuck in our tissues and working with people to become aware of and unravel these patterns.
When I’m not at work, I’m rock climbing, slacklining or swimming in the beach. I like to pretend my weekends are little mini holidays. I may have a slight addiction to study, and buying books. I love big meaningful hugs, campfires, dancing to old-school music, my two puppies, Maiser & Georgie, going on adventures with friends and chocolate ice-cream.
